Finally our kitchen is done. We have one more door to put on but it really looks like a whole new kitchen. I really should have been on one of those
home-makover shows I think. Amanda I know for you it is completely different because you couldn't really see the whole process in person. You will be so surprised when you get home. It really is amazing the difference a little color can make.

We painted all of the cabinets and handles. Then Jeff's Uncle
Harold carved the hearts into the main doors of the cabinets. I really am not much of a heart kind of girl but I needed a little something on the doors with some color to break up the blue. They really look awesome and they match my curtains perfectly.

My walls are a little different shade of blue than the cabinets and I think it looks fabulous. The cabinet
with the microwave had such and ugly
counter top I decided to paint it read. It worked and it looks good. Then my window was
taken out and made into shelves. I will soon put my cookbooks on
them and some little "ditties" that Grandma has found for me to make them cute and pretty. Oh everything looks so different and so good. It is no longer depressing to be in my kitchen...well except when I haven't done the dishes or cleaned off the counters.

Tyler loves to help. He was helping daddy put up the last cabinet doors. What a great helper he is!!

Tearing up the carpet in the living room was a huge chore and of course Tyler wanted to help there too.

He thought it was very interesting with no carpet. He was exploring and helping pick up the 'yucky' stuff off the floor.

Still helping, Tyler loves to sweep. I'm not sure if he made more of a mess or if he was a little bit of help. But, I can say that Tyler loves to sweep and mop. Every day now he gets both of them out and drags them around the house. A few days ago I went to take a nap and there was a broom IN my bed. Yes IN my bed!!
The day of work was over and Great Grandma Bernice had come to see what was going on. Tyler loves her little walker and she enjoys pushing him around because she can't do much else. And yes he is naked it was close to bath time and the little guy works like clockwork with taking his clothes off at a certain time. So it was naked time and Great Grandma didn't' care she would still push him around.
So it was another hard day of work for the boys. I don't know what we would do without Jeff's Aunt Cel, Uncle Harold and Cousin Cliff. Really they have totally remodeled our house!! Praise the Lord. I'll get some updated pictures taken so you can see the finished process of the living room and hallway and not just when the house was torn up.
Its a totally different house and I"m forever grateful to the Givens for giving so much of their time to make this crazy pregnant lady happy!
