Tyelr's Big friends

Andy and Lindsay, our dear friends from college, came to visit us a week or so ago and Tyler was overly excited. It was a little strange because usually Tyler doesn't take to 'strangers' real quickly. But Andy and Lindsay were already at our house when we arrived that evening and Andy got him out of his car seat. They were immediate friends. When we went inside Tyler started showing Andy his toys and his favorite Pooh-mobile. So they played while we all chatted.
Lindsay was happy to meet Haleigh because she had only heard about her and seen a couple pictures. They came to see us the day after Tyler was born a couple years ago and things have gotten so busy with both of us that we hadn't met up now that Haleigh was born.
I really miss them being close. Lindsay and I were MK Divas together and loved hanging out together. Andy and Jeff played in numerous basketball games and scrimmages together and we loved having such good friends so close.
But life happens and people move away so you have to thank God that you still have good friends and praise God for cell phones and Internet!! But either way we treasure the time we get to spend with them even if it is short.

Tyler crawled all over Andy. Andy was so good with him. We tell Tyler that it is Uncle Andy but I"m sure he'll be really confused. He won't really know who his aunts or uncles are!! But he reeled Andy in and they both loved it.
After Tyler had been buddies with Andy for a while he asked him to come in the kitchen. Tyler pointed to his animal crackers that were on top of the fridge and wanted Andy to get them for him. So they filled their hands with animal crackers and joined us with their snack.
Tyler finally warmed up to Lindsay after a while and played peek-a-boo with her as she sat next to me and chatted.

Tyler stayed up way to late that night (as he does many times) because we were all having such a good time together. We will see them again in a couple weeks at the MCC alumni basketball game when Jeff and Andy play so I'm sure Tyler will enjoy hanging out with his big buddy again.
