We have no new pictures to share at the moment. But we do have some crazy things in our life that have prevented such a thing. A few weeks ago we had a serious flood in our basement and had water coming in for a week. Craziness
So we spent many hours using the wet vac and wishing we could determine the cause of the water invasion of our space. It kinda put a serious damper on life. It halted massage times that I had planned on, playtime, sleepovers and the list goes on. But praise the Lord for men in our church that came to our rescue. We ended up having to drill some holes in the floor and sump pump, throw away all the carpet, carry gobs of things outside and even cut out sheet rock all around the basement.
Now it is time to refinish the basement again! It looks like we have just moved in and it drives us all crazy. But such is life you know? It is all gonna be okay. Praise God for good friends who have gifts that we don't have. A couple of my girlfriends are going to help me pick out colors and paint and everything for the basement. I guess that could be a positive out of the whole thing!
Tyler and I went to San Antonio and got back last Wednesday night. We went to see Gian who just graduated from the Officer leader basic training for the Army. (Or something like that) She is an army chick now though. So Tyler and I hitched a ride with Pappy and surprised G. She didn't know we are coming and I think we may have surprised her a little. Fun times in Texas! Tyler likes to act like a soldier now. He marches and stands at attention all the time. We are always in the army now. It really is kinda cute.
And of course at her graduation ceremony Tyler was doing his thing and making people smile. He was standing like the soldiers while they were standing there during the ceremony. He really has a way of making a person crack a smile when they are not supposed to. He did it here and he did it with Aunt Suzy while she was in a show in Brannon. He may be cute to others but he really was being a little disobedient as he was cracking people up. Oh well, such is life!
So Tyler and I got back and Jeff was supposed to leave for the Final Four that he and Michael have bean planning for nearly a year. But much to their dismay their teams did not make it that far. So they sold their tickets and will not be going now. It must not be worth some serious cash and hours in the car to watch teams you don't really want to watch and may not even watch on TV. There is always next year thought and they are in the lottery for tickets for that for 2011. Maybe it will be a better year!
Well that is the only update I have for now. Life is crazy and we will be fixing the camera as well and hopefully getting back to some real life here soon.
Ta ta for now and pics will come soon--well soon enough!
