Get Together with Friends

It has actually been a week or so ago now that we got together with our friends at our house. We usually do it every couple weeks. But anyway we do dinner and then some sort of project or something. Really we just have to have an excuse to hang out because we love to be together. All of our kids are close to the same age and love to play together and us girls of course like to hang out together so we thought we should bring the husbands along too! We say that we forced them to be friends because we like to hang out. We were doing girls nights out but we thought we should just do the whole family. So we have been doing that ever since. This time at our house was the manly job of burning tree limbs and such in our back yard. It really isn't a job you want to do alone and I really am no help at that. I'm really not sure if Jeff would let me help anyway. But they did it and we got the couple years worth of limbs cleaned up so we can start a new pile when we clean out the fence row. The kids thought it was so cool but we would only let them look out the back window. They thought their dads were so cool. They were excited and running around and yelling directions to them about safety with the fire. It was precious. Haleigh has to be in the play pen because you can't watch her close enough for her not to eat rocks or grass or whatever she finds. Cale wanted to be in there with her but it looks as if it wasn't turning out so well. Tyler is usually the bully but it looks like Haleigh took her turn too!

The girls planted flowers under my big beautiful bay window. I know nothing about planting flowers what they need or anything. I'm so not into that whole thing but Hope is so she and SHelby planted some we got on a short Wal-Mart run. We put mulch down and planted flowers. I'm sure it is going to look so pretty.

The boys destroyed and us girls planted pretties!
