2009 Family Graduations

The first weekend in May we celebrated Gian's pinning/graduating from nursing school. It was a trip to KC without the kids and I'm glad we didn't take them because I don't know that they would have been able to take the ride and then sit through a graduation ceremony. However, the ceremony was very quick and nicely done. I told mom I want to become a nurse now, but I"m thinking I may not go to school for it. But if a ceremony like that can inspire you a little to want to become whatever it is they must have done a good job!Our precious Grandparents. Grandpa Malloy would have been so proud too if he were here. It always makes me miss him more in a picture like this. It just doesn't look right.

Cousin Pete and Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky came and I'm sure they are loving this picture. They look very serious. Maybe they were eavesdropping on some one's conversation. :)
Amanda we decided we would give Gian a little 'frallamoose' in celebration of her success. We wish you were here. We gave her a kiss from you too and told her we were so stinkin' proud of our sister. (We are really special!)
I'm pretty sure Michael was feeding Grandpa a line of you know what here. He may have been talking about his adventures with Mom on the paper route. He definitely looks guilty!

Two cute grandmas. I had to snap it because I never get a picture of just the two of them. Precious...

Then last weekend cousin James graduated from KU. I know it is a little weird that I didn't get a picture of him. But Tyler thought the Jayhawk was so cool. However, he did not want to be told where to stand to get his picture taken. He has a little stubborn streak in him and I"m pretty sure it couldn't have come from me! (Just don't talk to Jeff about it)

Heather, you are right. I don't like that picture of me. I think Pete looks kind of cute, though. As if he is performing for you, almost!
