Every day I am amazed at how big she is getting and every day I cherish because there will never be another day like it. I really have been thinking that lately. I realize more and more that I will never have another baby in my arms, never be a mother of an infant, no more first teeth, first sitting up, first rolling over etc. and just all of those thoughts that run through your head when you know it is your last one and think about not having another one EVER in your life. I'm not depressed about it or anything but it is a little bit sad at every milestone that she makes.
She has been rolling over for over a month now. I was a little surprised when that happened. Then the next week she got her first two teeth. Geez, the girl was 4 months old and having teeth! Oh I wasn't ready for that. That means she's not a baby anymore. Not really but I had to cause a scene because in the same week she got the teeth, she rolled over both ways, sat up and scooted herself all the way accro
ss the bed. This is not okay. I"m not ready for it. But I guess I better get over that because she is doing more and more each day. It really is fun I just like to be drama about it because I know she is my baby.
She is always being smothered with kisses from her big brother and sometimes smothered in other ways too that really concerns me. Tyler does not know his own strength and sometimes I really think he is going to smother her!
He has to get the attention too.l Haleigh can't be the center of attention with anyone because he is right there competing for the attention of whoever is on the floor talking to her. I think he must have been trying to wrestle Uncle Mike while he was on the floor with Haleigh.
Her favorite new friends are her feet. She is always playing with them and sometimes she will take her socks off and she'll suck on her toes!! Sick! But I bet it makes Aunt G proud.
She has been sitting up by herself for a couple weeks now. She really thinks she is a hot shot and Tyler loves it. She's still a little wobbly but she can stay up for a while. What a big girl!
This is Tyler's new Elmo bed/couch and he thought it was pretty cool that his little sister was chillin' on it watching TV. She just looked so cute I had to take a picture.
