It was another girls day out. Another first for
the little high maintenance queen of the Martens' household. This weekend was Haleigh's first fashion show and first bridal fair. I really didn't know it but I am a sucker for these kinds of things. I loved every minute of it and I would totally have another wedding! I try to talk Jeff into it every year, but for the last 6 years it hasn't worked. Dang it...I want to be the beautiful bride again!
But this weekend my sister was. She was the beautiful bride
waltzing down
the runway in
the beautiful flowing wedding dresses. I was so jealous! But she did look gorgeous! I'm pretty sure her boyfriend thought the same thing. Too bad he is on the 10 year plan.
I think the lights were too bright for Haleigh bug. She really was wide awake the whole time. She was watching the flashing lights and all the
prettys walking down
the runway. And she lo
oked super precious for
the occasion in her little
diva jean dress and the pink bows. Oh she is too cute. I love little girl stuff.
And here comes the bride....(well someday she'll be a bride) but here she came down the runway looking so elegant in her flowing wedding gown. Tell me she is not gorgeous
This was toward
the end of the first show and Haleigh needed to be a little preoccupied because the show wasn't as exciting as it was in the beginning. She needed her hands and mouth on something.
The show wasn't just wedding gowns, Amanda wore several dresses and they all looked good on her.
I really thought this dress she wore was ugly but somehow she makes it look cute. I would never pick it out in a million years but at
the same time I
don't' know that I could say it was that ugly on her. I'm just not a big fan of that style of dress.
She was watching intently and we had to get it
that she was there at
the fashion show for her baby book. First fashion show and bridal fair at 5 months. In a few years she'll be the little flower girl model walking down the runway waving her hand and having the crowd ooh and
aww over her!!
And I love this picture. I think she should be a dress model for those bridal magazines. I know Amanda you may not think so but we all think you are definitely model material .
