Friday nites & Tyler

Two Friday's in a row Jeff and I had a babysitter. One week we went to the Topeka Harley Party sponsored by the Boys & Girls Club of Topeka. Then the next Friday nite we went to Bullfrogs Live to the Comedy Club. That nite was really fun. It turned into a family nite because I had to get tickets and friends backed out so we made it a family nite. It was fun. It was Cristina, my MK director's 50th birthday party and she rented out the comedy club. I really wanted to go because I had never been to a comedy club and I never planned on paying to go to one. It was a good experience but don't you ever wonder why people keep talking about ridiculous topics when no one is laughing and everyone has a disgusted look on their face? Yeah the first guy was crude, rude and just all around awful and I wanted to leave. The next guy was funny and had us laughing so hard. It turned out to be an okay nite after the first guy was finished. So now you see the VIP's at our booth!! We made the blog!!! Yeah!!

And you probably wonder about Tyler. Well he stayed home and raided the fridge and then took a bath and brushed his teeth!

Does he look ornery in this picture or what. This little guy can open anything and take everything out of anything that he opens. We left the fridge slightly open and he made his way to it fast. And when you tell hims something or say "oh Tyler" he just looks at you and smiles because he knows he shouldn't be doing it.

Oh Bath Time. He absolutely loves taking a bath. In fact, he doesn't care if it is a bath or a shower. He loves them both. And I really wish someone would have warned me that I may never be able to take another shower alone or in peace. Tyler loves showers so much and I can't take one alone. He will open the curtain at the front of the shower and try to get in and when you tell him no not yet he screams and throws a fit. So, I usually just wash my hair and then try to figure out how I'm going to do the rest with a baby in the shower with me.
One things that does scare me about the bath time is the fact that he is getting so brave these days. He doesn't realize how slippery it is when he stands up. He crawls all around the bat tub playing and then things he can stand up to the side of the tub and do a little dance. It makes me nervous because I just know he is going to bust his lip or fall backwards or somehing. But to see this little dance of his is quite hilarious. I know he is going to be a dancer just like his aunt!!

He also loves to brush his teeth. I was trying to dry him off and had in front of the mirror to distract him and he picked up the toothbrush and started "brushing" his teeth.
You just have to laugh because he has the right idea. I had to yell at Jeff to get the camera because I was laughing so hard. then of course he looks at daddy like, "he what are you laughing at I'm just bushing my teeth!"
