Tyler was dead set on having a Wiggly Birthday party. I had planned on Lightening McQueen from cars but he was not having it at all. So being the crazy mother that I am I searched everywhere for Wiggles Birthday Decor. I searched stores here in Topeka (not really thinking I would find such a thing) and I searched birthday party sites on the Internet but the only place I could find what I wanted was on the Wiggles home page. So yes indeed I ordered his party supplies straight from Wiggles Land....Australia. So when he got home from school Monday September 13
th He and Haleigh had lunch on Wiggles plates with Wiggles cups. They thought it was so cool.

When
the party was starting that evening Haleigh was not willing to give up the spotlight very easily; It had only been a month before that we had gathered for her 2
nd birthday party and the room looked just the same. So needless to say it was a little ugly trying to get her to understand
that it was about Tyler this time and he was the one who got to open the presents.

It was definitely a wiggly party. We had the Wiggles Birthday cake upon request. We also had Crunchy
Munchy Honey Cakes, a snack that the Wiggles sing about in one of their videos. Yeah for the wiggles. My grandma and I searched everywhere for one of the ingredients and finally found it in the health food section at Dillon's. And wouldn't you know they honey cakes were very delicious.

Our living room was full as we watched Tyler open each present. But at a Wiggly party we had to have the Wiggles in the background to enjoy!

Lightening McQueen was Tyler's favorite bag to open. However, at first he said the bag was too big! What 4-year-old says that, really?

I'm not exactly sure what this is about but I'm guessing someone asked him a question and he is being silly and trying to get some kind of reaction.

Another nice job by me, I forgot to buy candles for the cake. Really who does that. I flunked the mom job for the day. But never fear my friend Twyla was here. If Twyla doesn't have something she can always think of something that will definitely suffice. So what did she do...she made the candles. We had to blow them out fast though. She made them out of cupcake liners. She just rolled them up and stuck them in
the cake. Who knew? But it worked it just smelled a little funny blowing them out!

OOPS!! It didn't matter how neat the cake was...I dropped the dang thing!!! I could not believe it I was carrying it with the underneath and did not have my hand on the board that it was actually sitting on. Oops! So I had wiggles all over my hand.

One of Tyler's many gifts was his Wiggles match cards. He loves to play anything matching. So this was perfect. He also loves Grand Becky and whenever she is around he grabs her because he knows she'll play with him. So they were down on
the floor and he was educating her on The Wiggles.
it was a great Martens' birthday party. Never a dull moment with us!!
