A few weeks we enrolled Tyler in preschool. (not knowing about the speech stuff and the
possibilty of
USD 345) It was a huge thing for me because it means my baby is really growing up. I know he is ready for it and really so am I but it is just another step in realizing that he is growing up. I know I sound like a sappy blubbering mom. But I'
ve never done it before and it was sad and exciting at
the same time.

We went to the open house at Calvary
Lutheran and enrolled him. The people were fabulous there, the facility was nice and Tyler got to do some projects while we were there. He planted a flower. Well, really he played int eh dirt for a really long time and pulled the petals off the plant so it was just some green leaves. It was precious though. Nice work Tyler man!

I am excited for him to go to preschool to play with other little people his age and really learn how to share and play with the others. I guess a lot of it is for social skills hoping that
the speech will come. But now I'm confident that the speech will come with the specialized attention he'll get in
USD 345.

He
also got to make a little sheep with glue and cotton balls. This was something I don't
know that he had ever done before so it was fun for him.
He really is ready for this kind of thing. He is really smart and likes little projects and I'm not good at keeping him busy with all of these projects at home because I get sidetracked so easy and Haleigh gets into everything. So preschool will be very beneficial for him.
I still had to share the pictures even though we have decided today that he will be attending a different preschool facility.
I'm a little sad that he won't be goiing to Calvary because they would teach the Bible as part of the curriculum but I know that speech and such is far more important at this point and he can learn the Bible at Sunday School and at home right now. We'll see what happens later.
