Now we do have an entertaining story from the zoo on this day and I"m sure some of you have been waiting for one of my entertaining stories about my life. I swear my life really could be a movie or something and more than likely most of it would be a comedy.
So anyway, of course this story has to do with Tyler.
We were on the little playground in the middle of the zoo. the first incident was with his friend Cale. They were hugging and having a good time and then the next thing you know Tyler pushed him and ran. It really didn't look so good but the other moms and I were convinced that he was just trying to get him to play chase he just isn't so hot at the verbal skills yet.
Okay so then a while later, as the moms and I are sitting on the sidelines of the playground with Haleigh, another episode arises. Yes, it is Tyler again. WHO else? But all I hear is a woman yelling, (yes yelling, there is no exaggeration) I turn my head and see her pointing her finger in my child's face. Oh no girl. She better not be raising her voice so loud at my kid. Fine if you tell him not to do something or that he isn't making good choices or whatever. But do not yell at him. Wow.
Shelby got up and went and rescued Tyler because I was on the ground with Haleigh. So I had him come over and sit by me. I really payed it cool but I"m telling you it was only because I was with my church friends. I told Tyler that we don't touch other kids and it isn't nice to push. We really weren't sure if that was what really happened but Shelby thought Tyler didn't do anything wrong. So, I'm assuming he must not have. But anyway, I told Shelby and Hope that if they weren't there I wouldn't have been as calm and that mom may have been sorry she said anything to my child. Oh this girl can get ugly...real ugly.
But I held myself together and was praised on how calm I was. No it wasn't me it was the Lord holding me back. Seriously, I really don't know how I didn't go crazy on that lady. But then I think about it and if I had gone crazy on her wouldn't I have look just as stupid if not more stupid than she did. I could just see me taking this lady out of the playground at the zoo and making the news or something. I'm talking I can get crazy and ridiculous but luckily God had me with the right people that day and helped me be calm.
I tell you I have a crazy Tyler story every other day if not several a day. If only I had the time to blog every single one of them!
