Weekend

Tyler spent a lot of the weekend with his grams and papa. Jeff had a camp out with the 4th-5th grade boys from CPCC and I went to the Beth Moor conference with mom and Gian. So the night before we had to make sure the laundry was done. Tyler loves helping Jeff fold laundry. Usually it cause s a little bit of a fight but tonite was different. They got along great while folding it and watching TV in our bedroom. Good job boys! Thanks for the laundry.
Tyler spent Friday evening with Grams and Papa and he learned some new things. He played outside for a short time and learned to make funny shadows on the sidewalk. He helped with the dishes and might even have helped bake a cake. Yikes! Sounds like it took a lot of patience for all of that.
Saturday after the conference, shopping and Jeff taking a nap we went over for Donetta's birthday dinner. And of course we had to have cake and ice cream. Tyler loves to sit on Papa's lap and "share" his ice cream with him. But every time Tyler sits with him I think Papa gets ripped off. Tyler likes to take the spoon himself and give bites to papa. Usually Tyler's bites are huge and Papa gets a little tiny bit on the spoon!! I'm not sure how fair it is but anytime Jerry has a bowl of ice cream you better believe Tyler will be climbing up on his lap for some too.
Tyler loves to sing Zacheaus Was a Wee little mand. Although this time he didn't get into it as much as he usually does, it is still cute. He started focusing more on the camera than on his singing and his actions.
And how about my super cute new car? A couple weeks ago we bought a 2001 Toyota Highlander. It is fun to drive. Its such a blessing to have this and I know God saved it for us. But seriously my back doesn't have to kill me putting Tyler into the car seat and I can get in and out of it so much better. So Amanda..don't I look cute driving it? This picture was for youThe weekend ended with talking to Aunt Suzy on the computer. Tyler loves it when he can see her on the computer. He points to her and gets real close and laughs. He was giving her kisses on the screen. I thought it was too precious not to try to capture it in a picture. So Amanda, even though you didn't know he was kissing you, he was. He loves looking at pictures of Aunt Suzy and talking to her on the phone and when I talk to her on the computer with the web cam. I really need to get one of those so you can see him and not just wonder what he is doing on the other end.
