What a Day!

I'm, telling you this was A DAY! I'm not sure you could say it was necessarily a bad day but there were obviously several bad things that happened. I thought it was going to be a fun day as an honorary sister with mom and her sisters. I guess it was fun, just in a really weird way.
We started the day from Granny's house and were heading to Lawrence to buy a mother's day statue for Granny. We told her we were on a secret mission. Yeah so not even 5 minutes down Hwy 40 we had to pull over. You will notice that we are cleaning out the car and stripping the car seat. Tyler definitely "blew chunks" all over the place. I really never thought about the term until this and he really did and we even had chunks in the front seat!! Yeah it was bad. We pulled over and I got a towel to wipe him off and I unbuckled him and.....I couldn't do it. It was too much! Oh my gosh he was covered with...okay I"ll stop about the details but it was gross! So his Grand Cindy saved the day while his mother was about to start getting sick herself.
So we cleaned up the car seat, the car, Tyler and we decided we would go on.

Does he look sick to you? That could really make you mad when your hands are in puke and the little guy is driving Great Grandpa's truck and laughing while you are cleaning up after him.

He was definitely tuckered out by the end of the day. Getting sick , shopping for statues and then of course, going to Wal-Mart.
As if my day could get any worse, Jeff called and said he had to go pick up Addy (our dog we gave away the week before) from somewhere in town because she was reported missing and our name was still on the tag.
Oh the drama of the day. I guess it will be a memorable one though.
And I"m sure I'll never get asked to hang out with the sisters again!!

Oh, we won't give up on the honorary sister attempts quite so easy! My car got a shampooing the next day which was needed before, but was absolutely necessary after this adventure! It's clean now! I'm glad you both hung out with us anyway!
