We are SUCKERS!!

You can definitely say that we are SUCKERS! Oh we are bad, we are BAD! So we found a good home (so we thought!) for our dog about a week and a half ago. It was really hard for me to do because even though Addy is psycho at times I love her and didn't want to part with her. But I knew it was necessary. So I prayed about it. (Didn't really know you could pray for dogs!) But I did anyway and some people called us that next day and had a home for Addy. They brought their dog out to meet Addy. Addy and Tank became friends and they took Addy home with her bed and some food. It really was sad but I told myself that God loves dogs and he found her a home. So all the while I"m telling everyone God loves dogs and dogs DO go to heaven.
Well...I"m not so sure now because Addy is back. So either God doesn't love dogs or he wants us to love dogs too!
She is back. Oh was I stressed out about it because I don't want to go through it again trying to give her away again or whatever. But anyway Jeff had to pick her up because like dummies, who have never gotten rid of a dog before, we left the tags on her collar. Yeah smart right? So the people didn't take the tags off and she got out and so she is registered to us! Welcome home Addy!
SO as you can tell from the pictures we are total SUCKERS. She was acting so good, which is not like her. She was good with Tyler good in the house, she didn't jump on us. It is crazy! So yes we are suckers. I guess we'll give it a try again and see if we can't get her straightened out. I really don't know why we try but I guess it all goes back to God loving dogs! Ha!
So Tyler rode the dog and she didn't do anything.
Tyler read books to Addy and she fell asleep in his room. On my gosh we are nuts!
Then after Tyler was a sleep he woke up a while later and started playing with Addy so we had to get her out of there and when I came out of Tyler's room I see Addy asleep on a cozy little blanket at the end of our bed! Oh I tell you we are suckers. She has never in her life slept anywhere but outside or in the kitchen and now the dog is sharing a room with us! Oh I know we are crazy.

We even took Addy with us in the car to Pet Smart and some open houses and she waited in the car. But she did go into pet smart and was actually pretty good. Oh my gosh we have really lost our minds.

We bought her a control harness and it is like a miracle. Well right now anyway. We take walks every evening and it is like she is a new dog. I"m not sure what got into her but she is being (for the most part) the kind of dog we wanted in the beginning. Maybe she just had to know we really would send her off if she didn't behave.

Who knows what the reason is for her good behavior but I know she has us looking like fools. The dog we tried to give away to a good home and here she is back with us.

Oh I tell you we must be suckers...or just plain crazy.
