It was a day to go visit Great Grandma Gerry last week and Tyler was excited. I told him we were going to GG's and he went right to the door. It was a pretty windy day so we had to wear the hood. I think he looks so cute in the hood or a little hat.
When we got to her house he immediately went to the phone. It is his favorite toy there. He was pushing buttons and you know he knows he wasn't supposed to because of his ornery look. Every time he touched a button he looked at one of us to see if we were going to tell him no. Then he figured out how to play the messages. Grandma saves messages that we leave her so he had one from Amanda and one from me on there. Tyler listed to them probably 15 times. When Aunt Suzy would come on he picked the phone up and tried to talk to here. He looked so confused when there was no one on the phone.
Then after we were done with the phone we played on the floor. His great Grandma loves t
o play on the floor with him. She has to get down and play with him because she can't pick him up because he is too heavy. And let me tell you he is a big old dude! I weighed him today and he was 26.2lbs!! Wow he is HUGE!
This little bear kept him occupied for a while too. It was a gift someone gave Amanda and was in her stuff and Grandma's. When you push the hand he dances and sings "Mr. Sandman." Tyler didn't really know what to think of it at first but loved to watch it. Then he was loving it and this was also something that kept him entertained for a good while.
This table is one that Grandma keeps her dolls and little bears on but she got it out for Tyler to sit on. It is a good thing it is a sturdy little thing because it appears that he is too big for it too!
So it was a good day to spend at GG Gerry's house. It made her day and we were excited because we hadn't been there for several weeks.
