Tyler 'helped' put up his first Christmas tree this past weekend. Grandma got a new
Christmas tree and we put it together after we ate Gian's birthday dinner. Tyler rode in on the box.

We had to interrupt the TV watching in the living room to put the
tree up.

And of course Tyler was a HUGE help getting the tree out of the box and reading the directions on how the
pre-lit tree gets put
together.

To distract Tyler for a short time,
GG got out her little stuffed animals and played with Tyler and the soft little lions in Grandpa's chair.

But it didn't last too long. Tyler really wanted to help and being the little Grandma's boy that he is, he
wanted to help Grandma with what she was doing. He is always hanging on Grandma's leg or wanting to sit on her lap. He LOVES his Grandma! I'm sure it really bothers her too...

Jeff had to take him from his Grandma so she could finish but now you can see everyone working so hard. Gian...I'm not sure what her job was, maybe to make sure that things looked okay from that angle. And of course mom and Grandma were behind the tree making sure the lights were all plugged in.

Oh we touch
the tree gentle, very gentle. Tyler loves to touch the tree and is very curious about everything but he did an excellent job of just touching the tree very soft and gentle.
And then of course play time in the box. Aunt G and Tyler played for a long time in the box. We pushed Tyler around the house inside the box and then later Aunt G and Tyler played in the box.
Boxes really are a great toy. We played in them as kids and now we get an excuse to play in them again.
