It seems like we always have some kind of medical something going on over here. But this time it isn't Tyler its Little Haleigh Bug. She has had a bump on the left side of her head right above the brow bone that is pretty noticeable since she was about a month old. The Doctor has been watching it and it has grown so he sent us to a specialist. Haleigh and I went this morning and they scheduled a CT scan of her face/head for December 22. I'm a little nervious just because she has to be sedated for the procedure. They have pediatric specialists there so that is a little comforting but I'm a little nervous how the Queen will do with this. She can't have anything to drink or eat after 8 and her actual procedure isn't for a couple hours. Oh my I need to start praying now for a calm spirit for both of us. Please pray that all goes well with this procdure. We will find out results the next week (29th) with the doctor at another appointment.
So anyway there is our update for medical stuff here at the Martens' house. I"ll keep you posted.
As fore Tyler he is doing well. His speech is coming along pretty well. We will be going to the St. Louis Children's hospital to a pediatric neurologist specialist in April. This is not only a second opinion for us but also for our doctor here in Topeka. Pray that they can come to a conclusion for treatment for our little guy.
