Tyler's 3rd Birthday

Tyler's birthday was a few weeks ago but I have been a horrible blogger lately and am just now getting pictures up. But this was his precious cake that he was so proud of. He posed with it and then took it over and sat it on his grill that was very closet to where he was sitting. He sort of guarded the cupcakes for a while and then let people have them. He really was more interested in his 'Fun House' bouncer thing that the neighbors from down the street so kindly brought down for his birthday. It was a dream come true for a 3-year old. (and his dad)
Tyler had friends over to jump and they had a blast. Well I guess there was only one his age and the rest were the big kids who are his 'big' friends. I think Tyler might have been trying to get Papa to get in. I"m not sure that coaxing worked though.
Tyler and his big kid friends. Lots of the girls from Freedom Girls/Appleseed's came too and they are like Tyler's big sisters or brothers. My kids absolutely adore them.

Tyler's absolute favorite gift was not the new tricycle he is riding it is the singing Wiggles card he is concentrating on while riding the new trike. I swear these stinkin' musical cards could really drive a mom crazy. There have been several days where I seriously thought I was going to lose it with that 'stupid' card. I'm so sick of the 'chugga chugga driving in my car' song I could...I don't know what. But I really needed saved the other day.
Then it was nearly the end of the world because just last week Haleigh tore the card. Oh I really did feel bad for him and tried to fix it but I couldn't. But never fear the card is taken apart and you really can't tell what it is but the kid can still make it work!!! AHHHHHHHHHH! Aren't we thankful for the Wiggles and the wiggly party that we can have every minute of our lives!
He figured out the tricycle. He was so proud of himself and we were also so proud of him.

Getting the new tricycle out of Papa's truck.

Definitely an experience opening presents. He was a little distracted but seemed pretty focused on this particular one.
This may have been the item that caused a little bit of a tiff between Tyler and Peyton. They have gotten much better at tolerating each other these days. I'm pretty sure it will go back and forth a lot though through the years. They were nice friends when they were real little then there as a stage where they were just mean to each other. "Tylie" was mean and hits too much according to Peyton and Tyler would come with scratches on him from "Peytie". This night really was nothing out of the ordinary. The little tiff let to somce serious scratches on the back of Tyler's neck. Crazy little kids...gotta love it.
They are too precious together.
Another noisemaker. Brett was opening it because Tyler thought he had to have it at that moment. So what Tyler wants he got. Brett is just part of the family. He and Tyler are both buddies. They will be a lot alike. Brett is one the very very few boys out of many many girls in his class at church. And Tyler is the same. There is only one other boy in his class at church. I'm sure they'll have lots of stories when they are older. Maybe Brett can give him some advice or something.
Haleigh eating some cake with her dear friend Sarah.

She was just too cute I had to take another picture!
My dear friends Twyla and Angela and Chris. Twyla and Angela were such a big help. I'm not the best at planning things out. I"m the girl who says lets have a party and invites all the people and doesn't really think anything else through. They helped with ice cream cake clean up and who knows what else.
It was the high school kids that had so much fun at first. We couldn't get them out of the 'Fun House' for a while. This must have been their kind of party!!

Haleigh in the Elmo outfit (she was the party mascot for a while) with Ireland in the Fun House. Haleigh had fun there too but was a little nervous at first. Ireland took care of that though.
It was a super fun 3rd birthday party. Tyler received several gifts, had lots of friends, lots of cake and lots of fun. I guess it really can't get any better than that. Hot dogs and cake and a fun house what more could a kid want?
