Freedom Girls...this is a blog of my most precious girlfriends in the 4
th-6
th grade at Central Park. Freedom Girls is a ministry for girls at
CPCC. We have so much fun together with parties, projects and bible study. It is is incredible to see God working in these girls lives at such a young age. I love it. And knowing that the God I serve is working in young lives too reitterates the fact that he cares so much about each and every one of us.
Many of these pictures are from our purse project. We made princess bags with our initials on them. I was all over this project. Hobby Lobby can really get me in trouble. A while back I saw these bags and they were 50% off., I had to have them. Now tell me how you can pass up a deal like that. So I had to figure out something that we could do with them.
And I think I found just the right stuff. The girls loved it and so did I. I had to make my own bag too. I didn't want to feel left out.
I know some people may think that
Freedom Girls may be just girls hanging out and eating and chatting but let me tell you, these girls do dig into
the Word at almost every meeting. We are going through a book of girls devotions that really challenge the girls in
their young faith. It is incredible to see God working in such young lives. God really uses this ministry at
CPCC and we have over 13 girls in the group. We have even added a couple who just started at
CPCC and they have found a place to belong. Oh I just love it. I love it.
They love Haleigh too. They have been with me the whole pregnancy. They were so excited last year at our New Year's Eve party because they were the first ones to find out. So they think that Haleigh is one of them. I know she will have good examples to teach her as she grows up in
the church. These girls are fabulous and take good care of her already.

i think it's so good that girls that young of age can come together no matter what there differences are...jk! the DIFFERENCE is i'm not at all older than those girls!...
& if u could imagine who this is...
